Welcome

There are many exciting things happening in Albertville City Schools! Our high school renovation project is well underway. The stadium, cafeteria, and Aggie I renovations will be completed this year. Our fine arts building and the rebuilding of Aggie II and III will be completed in 2009. Plan now to join us for ribbon cuttings and public tours as these projects reach completion.

Our Chinese pilot program in the kindergarten and elementary schools has been extremely successful. We will work hard to continue building interest among our students over the next few years and plan to offer Chinese through distance learning at the middle school in 2008/2009.

Our school system is in the process of revising our strategic plan and implementing a balanced scorecard approach to the management of our strategic plan. This should be completed by the end of the year and will be posted on our website. It will give the public a clear picture of all of the initiatives our school system has undertaken.

Albertville is a wonderful community. The support the school system receives is phenomenal. We encourage you to continue to be involved, and we will continue to push ourselves towards excellence.
